Step 1: Open the create menu and choose New Frame

Open The Forge. Find the create menu trigger in the Forge tree (badge 1) and click it.

Select New Frame from the menu. The new-frame dialog opens.

Open the create menu and choose New Frame

Step 2: Select a game, pick a content category, and name the frame

Use the first dropdown to pick the game this frame belongs to (badge 2). The Content Category dropdown unlocks once a game is selected. Choose the category that classifies the frame.

Type a name into the Frame Name field so you can find the frame later.

The right-hand panel shows a folder picker. Leaving it on Personal Content drops the frame into your private library. Select a different folder to organise it elsewhere.

Select a game, pick a content category, and name the frame

Step 3: Submit the form to create the frame

Click Create Frame (badge 3) when the form is complete. Fabled creates the frame in your library and opens it in the Frame Editor immediately.

Submit the form to create the frame

Step 4: Start building on the Frame Editor canvas

The Frame Editor opens on your new frame's root container (badge 4). The canvas shows a placeholder message indicating no components have been added yet.

Drag components from the left palette onto the canvas to define how the frame displays element data. See the Customise a Frame guide for a full editor tour.
