Uploads in Fabled (a portrait, a battle map, a sound clip, a video, a handout PDF) go into the Media Manager. It has three sources:

  • My Library. Everything you uploaded. Only you can use a file until it is in a shared folder.
  • Shared. Files other people have shared with you.
  • Messages. Files sent in chats.

Use the search field to find a file by name. Filter by All, Images, Video, Audio or Documents, and narrow the list by folder, chat or campaign.

Sharing and access levels

A file is private to you until you put it in a shared folder. Sharing gives each person an access level:

  • View only. They can see the file and use it where it is shared. Only you can copy, change or delete it.
  • Can copy. They can use the file and copy it into their own My Library. Only you can change or delete it.
  • Can edit. They can use, copy, rename and replace the file. Only you can move or delete it, or change who has access.
  • Full access. They can manage the file as you can.

Storage limits

Each Fabled tier comes with a storage cap, and files in your My Library and files you send in messages both count toward it. The Media Manager sidebar shows how much you have used. The Subscriptions and tiers page lists each tier's cap.

Supported formats

The Media Manager accepts these file types:

  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP.
  • Video: MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM, MKV.
  • Audio: MP3, OGG, WAV.
  • Documents: PDF, TXT, DOCX, CSV, XLSX, PPTX.

If a file is rejected, convert it to one of these formats and upload it again.
