Tour the virtual tabletop
Step 1: Find the toolbar
Open your campaign's Virtual Tabletop. The toolbar sits in one place and holds all of the tabletop's tools.
On a narrower screen, the toolbar collapses to a Tools button in the bottom-left corner. Click it to expand the full toolbar.
The toolbar has a drag handle. Use it to reposition the toolbar anywhere on screen.
Step 2: Identify each tool in the toolbar
Hover any button in the toolbar to read its label. The toolbar contains several tool buttons:
- Select Tool
- Move Tool (the hand icon)
- Target Tokens
- Ping Tool
- Draw Tool
- Ruler Tool
The toolbar also holds Visibility, grid snapping, Add Element, the Dice Roller, and Undo and Redo.
Step 3: Move around the map canvas
The map canvas fills the rest of the screen outside the toolbar.
To pan the canvas, select the Move Tool from the toolbar and drag, or drag with the middle mouse button.
To zoom in or out, scroll with the mouse wheel.
