Fixes Roundup: Cleaner Tables and Smoother Sign-Ins

By Fabled TeamPublished July 5, 20262 min read

Nothing breaks immersion like a whisper that lands twice or a scene that opens empty. We hunted down a stack of exactly those small, annoying breakages across the tabletop, the sign-in flow, and The Forge. Here is what was broken and what now works.

At the table

Whispered dice rolls now reach each player exactly once, instead of occasionally arriving twice. When you join a live session you now drop onto the scene the GM actually has active, rather than an empty stage. Chat behaves too: messages no longer duplicate when the connection quietly re-attaches, and the log reliably scrolls to the newest line when someone speaks. We also stopped nagging GMs to finish setup once their game is already assigned, and token edits now reflect an element's updated name and art everywhere it appears.

Signing in and joining

The logged-out flash on first paint is gone, and we stopped the false "please sign in" bounce that could interrupt you mid-load. If you followed a deep link and got routed through email verification, Fabled now carries you back to where you were headed. And if you were invited to a campaign by email and only created your account afterwards, you can finally accept or decline that invite instead of hitting a dead end.

Building in The Forge

Uploaded SVG icons now inherit their colour instead of showing up as flat black, and element preview cards render their icon, glyph, or background reliably rather than breaking. The content tree's expand chevron now matches what actually opens, so folders no longer promise children that are not there, and the content picker's folder view respects the filters you set.
